I don’t have a polished “Artist’s statement”.
I am just a weird woman in the garden holding bones and having feelings.
What business do I have having such a pompous thing as an Artist’s statement?
The absolute audacity.

Come closer, there are bones and bells and meaning here...
Bones & Bullshit...
is my little world of handmade cozy oddities: bone light catchers, propagation vases, wire-wrapped gems, bells, paintings, and functional art made from natural, found, and occasionally suspicious materials.
My pieces are inspired by grief, humor, nature, decay, growth, and the weird tenderness of being alive in a body, in a house, on a planet that keeps handing us both beauty and nonsense.
I’m drawn to objects that feel discovered rather than manufactured; things that catch light, hold water, make sound, grow roots, or quietly shift the feeling of a room.
I like art that feels a little feral, a little sacred, a little funny, and a little like it knows something you don’t.
This work is not about perfection. It is about presence. It is about noticing what is discarded, broken, strange, or overlooked, then making something beautiful, useful, or quietly powerful from it.
I believe homes should have personality. They should have little corners of mystery. They should hold evidence that a real human lives there — someone with memories, mess, humor, grief, hope, and probably too many rocks.
It’s about honoring the bullshit and finding the bones underneath.
